Thanks for coming to my music portfolio. You'll find a lot of my original music here in audio and video formats, as well as lyrics to the songs I've posted.
Chronologically, my standout influences have been Motown (Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye), Elton John, Santana, Zappa, Talking Heads, Grateful Dead, Jazz (standards and modal jams), alt country (Uncle Tupelo, Whiskeytown, Wilco), Classical, and jam bands (Phish, Goose, Umphreys).
You'll find my songs vary quite a bit in style though you will probably pick up on a common thread of natural imagery and common emotion in both the lyrics and orchestration.
Fellow musicians - I'm available for recording bass tracks, fill-ins for gigs, and possible new projects. All genres welcome.
